is to you, and protecting your privacy, along with your personal information,
is at the core of our business. We are committed to protect the personal
information you have entrusted to us. We want our customers to know their
privacy is protected by federal and state laws, but more importantly, by
KnightZone’s commitment to comply with the spirit and intent of those laws.
For this reason, we have adopted the privacy policy described herein.
Privacy Principles
Recognition of
a Customer’s Expectation of Privacy. We recognize your expectation of privacy
and security for your personal information and will safeguard the sensitive
information that you have entrusted to us. We will take reasonable steps
to protect the privacy of information shared with us, and we will maintain
standards and procedures designed to prevent misuse of this information.
Collecting, Retaining, and Using Customer Information
We collect, retain,
and use information about you only for legitimate business reasons and
to provide products, services, and opportunities to you. We use this information
to maintain your records, accounts, and funds; to comply with applicable
laws and regulations; to help us design and improve our products and services;
and to better understand and meet your needs. We understand that the more
we know about our customers, the better we can serve their often unique
needs and provide them with appropriate products or services. We also collect
and analyze customer information as a first step in product development.
We try to spot trends or changes in the way our customers manage their
business. By constantly reviewing updated information, we are able to create
new products and services or improve existing ones, providing our customers
with more effective web development tools.
Maintaining Accurate Information
We have established
internal procedures designed to ensure your personal information is accurate,
current, and complete in accordance with reasonable commercial standards.
KnightZone.com will correct inaccurate information, update information,
and remove old information in a timely manner.
Securing your Information
We maintain appropriate
security standards and procedures to help prevent unauthorized access to
confidential information about you. We restrict access to information about
our customers to those authorized individuals who have a legitimate need
to know. We also update and test our technology to improve the protection
of your information and to assure its integrity.
Restrictions on Disclosure of Personal Information

does not reveal your personal information to outside third parties for
their independent use, except in the performance of bona fide corporate
due diligence, unless: (1) you request
or authorize it; (2) the information is provided to help complete a transaction
initiated by you; (3) the information is provided to a reputable credit
bureau or similar information reporting agency; (4) the disclosure otherwise
is lawfully permitted or required (i.e. subpoena, investigation of fraudulent

for marketing or similar purposes through a prior communication and is
given the opportunity to decline.
Maintaining Customer Privacy in Business Relationships with Third Parties
If personally
identifiable customer information is provided about you to an outside party,
such as a vendor or service company that we hire to provide support or
services for one or more of our products, we insist that these vendors
and service companies agree to safeguard your confidential information,
abide by applicable law, and adhere to similar privacy principles that
provide for keeping such information confidential.
Privacy on the Internet
Finally, it is
important to understand the Privacy implications presented by Internet
"cookie" files. A "cookie" is a small text file that can tell whether a visitor has been to a site
before, and which can track visitor activity on a web site. Although there
has been some debate over the privacy implications of cookies, they do
not read your hard drive nor can they be used to reveal anything about
you that you have not already explicitly revealed. Also computer viruses
cannot be transmitted through cookies. If you choose not to allow cookies,
you can set your browser’s preferences to refuse them, this will prevent
anyone from placing these files on your system. However, KnightZone may
use temporary or "Session" cookie files for our use in a shopping cart
or session variables, so that our server may know when you timeout
our server can reallocate it's memory resources. But these session
cookies are only temporary and are deleted when you leave the web site.
It is possible to transfer this same information through long urls but
some browsers have a limit of 1024 characters which can place limits
on how much information is passed. If we take your order and you have
a rather large order then some of the products you may want will not
get sent to you because your url was too long. Session cookie files
prohibit this from happening due to the fact that there is no limit
to the data in a cookie file. So your order gets processed completely
and you receive everything you ordered.
Other Web Sites
KnightZone.com
cannot be responsible for the information practices of sites linked to
or from our web site. Please be sure they are reputable companies and that
you have read and understood their privacy policies before providing information
to them.
Summary
The rapid growth
of electronic commerce and other technological advances have increased
the amount of customer information collected and shared in our marketplace.
Debate continues about the impact this development has or might have on
consumers’ privacy and reputation. Given the potential for this customer
information to be used in ways unwanted by consumers, we at KnightZone.com
are sensitive to this growing concern. We want to serve our customers by
making use of technology and customer information, but we will always treat
customer information with appropriate confidentiality.
Protecting your privacy is an on-going process. We will continue to review the measures
we take to safeguard customer information. Please be assured that we will
take reasonable measures to protect your customer records.
