Jeff started playing music when he was 6 years old. He studied Piano extensively with 3 different piano instructors all before his college studies. He also played Trumpet all through his Elementary, High School and College years. He started playing Professionally on the road when he was 21 years old. He has performed and traveled quite extensively in 42 states and 4 different countries with more performers than he can count. He lived in Nashivlle TN from 1990 to 1994 where he was a Musician Union Member and a road musician and background singer for some very popular country acts. He has also performed on "The Grand Ole Opry" in July of 1993. He has won and placed in several talent shows. He has received and won several trophies, plaques and music awards which he keeps on his wall in his home office for his various abilities and talents. His songwriting ability has not gone unnoticed while his song "Quarter Friends" was nominated in the Duet of the year catagory in the Independent Country Music Association's 2000 Awards show in Nashville TN. He has written over 150 songs while placing 5 of those in the top 20 worldwide on the Independent label charts with 4 different performers or acts. 3 of his gospel songs have done well in the charts in the Gospel realm. His hits include: "Quarter Friends"

However Jeff did retire from road work in 1997 to concentrate on his songwriting and studio session work but has come out of retirement in 2001 to perform again publically.
