Jeff Knight, Keyboards/Vocals
Cerro Gordo, NC

I'm just a small-town country boy with many abilities. I am an accomplished musician (see musical resume), singer, songwriter, composer, arranger, sound engineer, producer, computer programmer, web developer, businessman, truck driver (CDL), technical writer (columnist), sports enthusiast (baseball coach, table tennis, firearms), actor, comedian (impressionist), notary public (NC), competitive chess and spade player, not to mention my most important job of being a God-fearing son, father, husband, and family provider. Whew! Did I mention that I was a very busy individual? Along with all that I own and operate this web site which I call my online home.

Since the fall of the economy back in 2001, I have come to the conclusion that no matter what occupation I fill, that my musical future keeps calling me back to fulfill some sort of obscured destiny I'm not aware of. Music is the one past time that I feel most competent and happiest in doing. I wished I could see into the future to see if all the hardships were worth it. But right now, I can't see what lies ahead. Even if I could, I'm afraid that it would scare me to death if something positive or rewarding actually happened. Even the great artist Vincent Van Gogh never sold a painting in his lifetime. Now his paintings sell for millions. So for now, I'll just keep doodling away at my craft and hone a little farther the talents that the good lord bestowed upon me. Which some days actually feel more like a curse than a blessing. But God knows and I trust him. So I'll just let him open the doors and lead me where he wants me to go. As I'm tired of trying to figure it all out on my own.

Good Luck and many thanks for visiting and best wishes in your endeavors.

Grandmother Addie Edwards Knight

Addie Edwards Knight
Deceased: 1979

Being a musician does not only affect the musician, but their family as well. There are some people whom I must pay tribute for their great sacrifices. I dedicate this web site and my talents to my wonderful, loving grandmother: Addie Edwards Knight who gave me my first keyboard lesson sitting on her lap while she used her own feet to pump the old pump organ in her living room. She was the only Knight musician I knew and she was a keyboardist as well. She played for our local church whenever she got the chance. She passed on when I was just 15 years old and she never got to see me perform on The Grand Ole Opry. At least not from this side of Heaven. I hope I made her proud.

Tillman and Viola Knight

Tillman and Viola Knight
Mom and Dad

I would not and could not have pursued my music career had it not been for the best parents I could have ever dreamed of having. I honestly believe they sacrificed more than I ever could. There are no better parents anywhere than Tillman and Viola Knight. I was very lucky, as you see I was adopted by them when I was a week old and they treated me no different than if I was their own biological child. I love you Mom and Dad. Thank you for giving this adoptee a chance as well as a loving home. Adoption does work for some people.
