Welcome to Neal Knight's Baseball web site: I'm proud to introduce to you my son, Jeffery "Neal" Knight II. Though we and his friends just call him Neal. He has been described by local sports writers and newspapers as: "A Baseball Prodigy", "An up-and-coming youth baseball sensation", but my personal favorite is "The Strike-Out Kid". So we adopted the nickname as it fit his persona on the baseball diamond. Neal's pitching and middle infield abilities have drawn great attention this past year of 2005 and in 2006. Especially after making starting pitcher for the local 2005 Dixie Youth All-Star Team and for his Dizzy Dean All-Star Team in 2006. Neal just loves the game of baseball and has had over 250 hours of pitcher training as well as over 100 hours of middle infield training. This youth future baseball star has only one dream in mind. He wants to pitch for the Atlanta Braves one day. With his abilities, I don't think that will be a problem for him. Last year of 2005 he broke 4 youth pitching records in his Dixie Youth Minor League: Most Strike-outs in 1 game (16), Highest Strike-out average per game (11), and Most Strike-outs in a 10-game season (44) and he only pitched in 5 games, and lowest season ERA of 1.90. His 2006 season record was 5-1 as the loss was only by 1 un-earned run in the last inning. He had 1 no-hitter and 2 shut-outs. Cap it all off with a 2005 Minor League MVP and a shut-out in the Championship All-Star Tournament and he had the makings of an almost perfect season in 2005. In 2006, Neal played in the Dizzy Dean League of North West Georgia (Bartow County League). He put up some great numbers once again in 2006 which earned him a spot on the starting pitching roster for the Bartow County Nationals Red Sox All-Stars. I am very proud of his accomplishments and his abilities and I wanted to share those memories with you which is why I created his own little web site to keep you informed of his baseball activies through-out his youth baseball years. You will find more info on Neal from the links on the menu to the left. Neal will be 11 yrs old in September 06 and will be moving up to the 11U age bracket in 2007. Thanks for visiting and may God bless you all, especially the youth baseball players who grow up to be tomorrow's super-stars.
